Aggregating local data and news

Posted by Stephen Francoeur on March 4, 2008

There’s an interesting new site called EveryBlock that allows you to search for neighborhood news and data in New York, Chicago, or San Francisco. You can search by address, ZIP code, or neighborhood name. The site pulls together information from a number of sources in a very intriguing way.

If you want to learn more about this site, then check out the interview that Jon Udell did with one of the folks behind EveryBlock, Adrian Holovaty.

Thanks to Barbara Carrel (adjunct at John Jay and at Baruch) for alerting me to EveryBlock.
